SquaredOut makes it easy for you to stay up to date with your favorite brands when you follow their calendar. By following your favorite sports teams, restaurants, companies, celebrities or charities calendars you gain access to all of their events. The benefit of this is that you never have to miss out on an event again because its on your calendar.

For instance, let's say you love going to happy hour, but you don't know what restaurants or bars have the best happy hour deals. Well, when restaurants and bars create a calendar, they can post their happy hour deals or food specials, and when you follow them, you gain access to them. It's a win-win for both the business and the customer because the business gains the customer, and the customer saves money by knowing what's going on.

Connects is where you can connect with calendars your friends and family are following. All you have to do is click on their name in the Connects tab, and you gain access to their profile and which public calendars they are following. From here you can send them a message, or follow a calendar they are following.

How do you get Connects? To get Connects, you first need to create an event or calendar, and invite your friends and family to it. As soon as they accept, they become one of your Connects. Now let's say you want to see what your Connects are doing this weekend. You can do so by creating a calendar, and sending them an invite. You can give them rights to the calendar, such as to be an admin, the ability to add events, or set them to read only. Now when you add an event, all who are connected to that calendar, will be able to see the event.
